The Speaker

simonsimSimon Sim is passionate about helping others build stronger relationships with their families. As a popular Family Life Coach, he has enthralled thousands with his brand of “edutainment” – providing humorous yet honest insights about life, love, marriage and parenting.

A much sought after speaker, Simon has addressed staff of numerous ministries, statutory boards, and corporations as well as parents in various schools. In addition, he has also been invited to speak at events such as Intergeneration Bonding Forum 2005, Singapore Parenting Congress 2005 and Marriage Convention 2006 and 2009. Simon is also the author of The Family CEO: Building A Happy and Successful Family.

 

Simon just retired as the General Manager of TOUCH Community Services where he oversaw the voluntary welfare organisation’s day-to-day operations.

On the home front, Simon is happily married to Bee Chin for 32 years and they have three children aged 27, 24 and 21. Through the couple’s strong marriage, they have been able to provide their children with a loving and supportive home environment as well as a legacy to pass on to their own families.

As a couple, they make time to volunteer as instructors for TOUCH Community Services’ marriage preparation course – providing young couples with insights to building a lifelong partnership. They are also the keynote speakers at the organisation’s marriage enrichment weekend for married couples.

Simon is a certified trainer for Focus on the Family’s “Heart of Success” workshop. Simon and Bee Chin are also certified to conduct “Connect2” workshop – an interactive course aimed to help couples address issues that all newlyweds face, strengthen their marriage in the early years and learn to really love each other for life. In addition, Simon is licensed to solemnise civil marriages in Singapore.
